The LAGO company was officially launched in 1976 by Giuseppe Lago, but the first steps were taken by the craftsman Policarpo Lago, who already at the end of the nineteenth century was active in venetian villas and churches. Afterwards, the sons pursued and extended their father's activity and it was the same with the following generations until today that the company has established itself among the major international manufacturers of furniture with a modular and an adaptable design.
