Poltronova Sofa Mitzi designed by Hans Hollein for Poltronova in 1981. The sofa efficiently displays a harmoniouscombination of shapes and materials, with soft and rigid elements that blend together. The padded cushions and the soft wool cloth coexist with the wooden structure and the root leaf, while the curved line of the back contrasts with the straight base.
The name "Mitzi" is interesting because it is a woman’s name, which could be an intentional reference to the softness and femininity represented by the cushions and the back.
